Vintage Semi-Porcelain Hardie Dog Sitting Fox Terrier

Description

This is a beautiful semi-porcelain figurine of a dog, approximately 3 5/8" tall, up to 3 1/2" wide.
Appears to be a sitting wire-haired fox terrier. Hand painted.
Marked "WARRANTED SEMI-PORCELAIN" and bears a Hardie Dogs sticker.
In excellent condition, no chips, no cracks, no repairs. There is some minor crazing.

This card was purchased in Amsterdam, Netherlands by my friend, Lotje. She scours all the great cities of Europe for unusual and beautiful vintage and antique postcards.

On the front of this vintage  postcard is a rare art portrait of 4 beautiful Smooth Fox Terriers.
On the back is a handwritten message in Dutch, an address in the Netherlands and a faded Netherlands postmark.  This postcard was originally made in the Netherlands and dates back to about 1910.
Measurements are approximately: 3.5" x 5.5" so this is a standard size postcard.   Aside from a few signs of surface wear, this card is still easy to see and appreciate!
